    True. Presence of mind will enable the person when to start and when not to offer his suggestions. There is a right time and right place for everything.

    It definitely does not always pay unless the boss is stupid and is not able to see through those yeses....You may agree to certain things but unlewss you show that you have the capacity to think for yourself and take decisions your work and yes will not be appreciated ...


    But most of the time bosses like this because this is what we call flattering and who does not like Flatterers. :laugh:

    Many a times yes man climbs the ladder within no time as they gained career advancements in easier way, but what matter the most life after retirement, as through out their career they have been indulging in wrong doing in order to have a good standing in front of boss and for this they have to face many such enquiries and other investigations which might ruin life of theirs after retirements. :whistle:

    Yes it happens in most of the cases but every one don't :blink: want to be in the list of yes man I never tried it may if I had I would have been in much higher position than what I am today. :blink:

    If the flattery has substsnce then it is alright, but flattery just to gain some favor will never work in the long run.Any person with some sense will see through it...

    Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

    Initially may be ! But how long can that last ? unless the flatterer is smart enough to also do some good work so that the boss has no complaints about him or her..
